My girlfriend and I have recently completed on a house purchase in Swindon and we moved in a few weeks ago. As you will know, our move was handled by Claire Grierson and I am writing to you to let you know what a pleasant experience we had dealing with both Claire and your company. The local estate agents were far from helpful and i felt Claire made up for their shortcomings by providing a service above and beyaond what we were expecting. Our queries were answered quickly and professionally and although I often feared I was becoming a bit of a nuisance, I was never made to feel that way. We really appreciate the work she has done for us. I will remember Cheesman & Co for my future legal needs and will certainly recommend your company to family and friends.

I was very impressed by the service throughout all the paperwork was dealt with very promptly and i felt that a significant effort was made to allow me to exchange and complete within 48 hours. Jennie and Claire have been awesome. Jennie has always replied to my enquiries within a few minutes, and all communications have been clear and precise, leaving me in no doubt what action I need to take. Not only did Jennie direct both the client and myself, she also stood up to the sellers solicitor, kicked his backside and made him do some work that he hasd already told his client he had done. She is amazing. I don't know of any other conveyancer that would have made this case happen and drag it kicking and screaming to completion.

There were some teething problems with getting the process started, but once we had these out of the way, I was very impressed with Claire's mannerisms and communication. The purchase turned out to be much more complex than first hoped, but she was always able to provide us with an update, and more than willing to chase the vendors solicitors or agents to get additional information as required.

I was convinced that a local solicitor would be better and more efficient, but looking on the internet and finding Cheesman and Co were by far cheaper, we decided to give it a go, it could not have gone any smoother, they were very efficient, we could keep track of it on line and Jenny was there to answer any questions promptly, she was so ahead of the game that at times she was chasing us instead of the other way round.
We now have a few other legal matters that we would like Cheesman to deal with for us, I would definitely recommend them.

Having been warned that using a company from the internet would lead to trouble; I am able to totally refute that and to say that Claire and the company have at all times acted and been nothing but professional, courteous, efficient, answered my phone calls, dealt with my queries and moved the process along as quickly as was possible.
I know it was a relatively straight forward conveyance as there was no mortgage etc. However that doesn’t negate from the work you put in or the way you looked after me, the client. Thank you very much indeed.

Overall the service has been very good, except at one occasion when somebody in the firm sent out the wrong information about other people’s property to me, but my key contact person in the firm has been very helpful and helped resolve the situation quickly.

I was advised by several people not to carry out the conveyancing on line but can honestly say it did not create any issues, indeed I could guarantee a response to any emails the same day and anything that had to be confirmed in writing was sent immediately.
